House of Mews, Memphis

While in Memphis, Dorothy and I stumbled upon HOUSE OF MEWS in the Cooper-Young neighborhood. It's a cat rescue with a storefront. We spent some time in their "living room" enjoying the company of every variety of kitty you can imagine. As wonderful as it was for us to visit and then go on our merry way, it's a reminder of how many cats there are in every city and town that are in desperate need of a good home.

Please everyone, spay and neuter your pets. Spay and neuter strays when you can. It's very very sad the number of cats who at best die from euthanasia in overcrowded shelters, or at worst from starvation, injury or attack.
